um...start from the beginning, i guess.

loved the dream sequence. seeing veronica's world how she wanted it to be - lilly alive, mom still at home and sober, and logan telling her he loves her... le sigh.

there's a lot in here that's a blur, so i'll skip to the parts i remember.

i give mad props (so to speak) for the people on the spec boards that called the beaver being molested by woody plotline weeks ago. i'm not sure i find the beaver crashing the bus thing all that believable, but damn does kyle gallner make a creepy fucking psycho. the moment he read that text message, he went from sweet but weird beaver to massively freaking guy whose ick factor rivaled aaron's.

weevil not getting to walk across the stage? heartbreaking. thinking keith was dead? my heart was on the ground on the rooftop crying next to veronica.

the way they tied up the ends of all the mysteries so neatly made me worried that there won't be a third season. aaron confessing what he did to lilly to v in the elevator felt good somehow, i guess if only to know that they can't re-open the "who killed lilly" files in a future season. beaver raping veronica? yick.

and logan....oh, logan.
when she asked him and dick where beaver and mac were, and then watched her run off, you could tell by looking at him that he knew something was wrong. score one for the echolls kid. when v had the gun pointed at cassidy, i was watching logan's face more than anything else:
he killed my dad (logan expresses massive love and protectiveness)
he killed the kids on the bus (logan expresses massive love and protectiveness)
he raped me (for a flicker of a second, the emotion of "i'm going to kill that fucker" flashes through logan's eyes before all his focus returns to v.)

he held her, he took her to mac (what an ass for stealing her clothes, beav!), he took her home, and stayed and made bacon and held her even after he knew keith was alive. mucho points.

and OMFGLV the kiss! i have waited all season for that kiss.




I'm guessing next season will go something like this:
Veronica and Logan and Wallace go to Hearst.
Aaron's gone, so I'm sure there'll be some investigation there, which could get sticky since v and l were both at the grand that night, but at least no firey drama.
We'll see Jackie occasionally when Wallace goes to visit.
We hear no more from Duncan - his last real tie to neptune (aaron) has been taken care of.
Mysteries for next season: what happens to Weevil? what the hell was in kendall's suitcase and what is she doing now? with weevil possibly out of the picture, will the fitzpatricks rise again?



That's all I can say for now, as my fan is going and sounds like a lawnmower and i really don't want my fandom to fry my processor. now that's a phrase i never imagined saying.

if anyone knows where i can d/l tonight's ep, please let me know. i need to watch it again, partly for the fact that mer pointed out that logan was at one point wearing a shirt that looked eerily simlar to one jayne wears, and i need to see if my fandom really is colliding.
